Thank you for visiting the Community Connect page for the Huntersville Fire Department! My name is Jim Dotoli, I am the Fire Chief for the Huntersville Fire Department. Serving the Huntersville community since 1923; it is the mission of Huntersville Fire Department to protect lives and property through a comprehensive program of fire suppression, fire prevention; public education; rescue; extrication and EMS first responder services to the community. The Department is committed to providing the highest level of service and professionalism to the residents and visitors of Huntersville and the surrounding communities by ensuring all members and employees receive the highest level of training, equipment and continuing education.
We are a four station, full-service fire department, and we respond to fires, fire alarms, motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, water craft emergencies and serious rescue incidents for the town of Huntersville or in accordance with our mutual aid agreements with surrounding communities. In 2019 we responded to over 6,734 calls for service.

In the event of an emergency, this information allows the firefighters responding to assist you better serve you when they arrive on scene. The information populates onto their onboard computer and allows them to pre-plan their approach to assist you.
